The contribution of 196 Royal Australian Navy members unit have been recognised at a ceremony at the Australian War Memorial for their efforts during the Vietnam War. Among the unit included one of our own in David Cronin ‘61 (known as shippy in his IGS days). David’s unit was responsible for transporting around 250,000 troops per year into and out of battle over a four year period. To receive such a gallantry award is quite the achievement, we would like to thank David & his unit for their brave service to the country. (Pictured: David 4th from the left)
