Professor Richard D Allen ‘68

Graduated from University of Melbourne in 1974 obtaining FRACS in 1982. After gaining experience in the UK, Richard returned to establish a new renal transplant program at Westmead Hospital, Sydney’s largest teaching hospital, in 1986. He has pioneered many successful transplant programs and was appointed Professor of Transplantation Surgery at University of Sydney and Director of Transplantation Services at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 2003.
