Peter completed his medical Degree at the University of Melbourne in 1982, his post graduate Radiology training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, his Neuroradiology Fellowship at the Oregon Health Sciences University in America and returned in 1993 to lead the interventional neuroradiology department at the RMH.
In 2024, he is the Consultant Radiologist at the RMH, the Director of Neurointervention Service for Melbourne Health, Honorary Visiting Consultant at The Royal Children’s Hospital and part of the Research Team at the University of Melbourne and the RMH.
He was the President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology (2016-2019) and continues to make advances in the treatment of strokes, aneurysms and limb paralysis.
