The Old Ivanhoe Football Club comprises of three Australian Rules Football teams which belong to the Victorian Amateur Football Association.
The Club was founded in 1964 by alumni of Ivanhoe Grammar School and has since progressed from the cellar of the VAFA to be a strong side amongst A and B section over the past 10 years.
The playing list of the Club is made up of mostly Ivanhoe Grammar School old boys, but it continues to have a strong contingent of players from elsewhere.
The OIGFC fields teams in the Seniors, Reserves and Under 19’s divisions.
The Club trains on a Tuesday and Thursday throughout the year at Chelsworth Park which is located off Irvine Road in East Ivanhoe.
All new members, players, supporters and sponsors are warmly welcome.
Pre-Season – Usually held on Monday and Tuesday evenings at the School’s South Ground, though check the clubs Facebook page or website for further information.
During Season – 6.30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
