New CEO – Stewart Carter ’92

In June this year, the Board appointed Mr Stewart Carter, (nee: Gray, 1992) as Chief Executive Officer. Co-founders Daniel Muggeridge and Cameron Bedford, inspired by survivor Luke Benson, who in 2015 gave evidence to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse created, a Melbourne-based tech social enterprise helping to ensure Australia’s children and vulnerable people are safeguarded. Stewart brings an exceptional leadership capability developed in the army as a graduate of the Royal Military College and the University of NSW and refined over more than a decade in the private sector. These unique experiences combined with a passion for people and creating great teams and a strong culture provides Stewart with an ability to align strategic opportunity with service delivery, capability and swift execution. “Stewart is a wonderful addition to lead the team,” said Chairman, Daniel Muggeridge. “Stewart has skilfully helped transform other organisations across both the corporate and not-for-profit sectors and we’re excited about what he brings to”. Accepting his position Stewart said, “Our immediate goal is to build enduring and trusting partnerships with key industry leaders across education and sport to cement our presence, commercialise the platform and accelerate scale”.
