On leaving school, Ross attended the University of Melbourne graduating Bachelor of Laws in 1964. He was admitted to the Bar in 1967 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1986. His practice is in Common Law and is principally involved in appearing before civil juries in personal injury claims. Ross has served on the bar council and the ethics committee of the Victorian Bar. He is currently Chairman of the Common Law Bar Association and a member of numerous law reform and practice committees.
