Mr Ronald E Williams QC ‘65

Matriculating with Honours in 1965, Ron studied Law at the University of Melbourne graduating in 1969. After post-graduate study and tutoring at the Australian National University, Ronald was admitted to the Victorian, New South Wales, Territory of Papua New Guinea and Australian Capital Territory Bars between 1971 and 1973. He was appointed one of Her Majesty’s Counsels in the Australian Capital Territory in 1990 and in Victoria in 1991. Ron Williams has had a distinguished career in public, administrative and common law fields of law and more recently in aviation law. He has appeared in the High Court in leading constitutional cases and regularly in the Federal Court and the Courts of the Territories.
