Peter has had a long and eminent business career including roles as chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce Australia and chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry .
In the Australia Day Honours List 2020 Peter was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for distinguished service to business and commerce at the state, national and international level, and to the resource sector.
