Bernie Jacobson ‘54 is a proud owner of a Lagonda, so much in fact that he even takes it along with him for holiday! Lagonda is a British luxury car marque established in 1906, which has been owned by Aston Martin since 1947. Lagonda’s are one of the world’s oldest and longest running motorcar marques. Still available, if you can raise the Millions of Dollars purchase price for the current model. Bernie’s Lagonda is a 1934 “Rapier” which he has owned it since 1976. Among other little outings, Bernie’s Lagonda has been to the UK and Europe with him, as daily transport, several times (Approximately every five years since 1984).
