Peter attended Ivanhoe Grammar School for 13 years from 1963 to 1975.  In his final year at School he was a member of the First XI in Cricket and the First XVIII in Football, as well as being a senior CUO in the Cadets Corps and House Captain of Athelstane. Peter trained as a Marine Engineering Officer in the Royal Australian Navy and served in the Navy for ten years.  Since then, Peter has worked predominantly in the IT and Telecommunications industries and is currently an Enterprise Account Executive with CDS, a US-based IT services company. Peter’s passion, though, is Ivanhoe Grammar School. He is a proud Plenty parent with Emma (2003), Nathaniel (2007) and Joshua (2008) all enjoying the benefits of an Ivanhoe education.  His wife, Pauline, who he met in 1975 whilst still at School, has enjoyed the last decade as a senior mathematics teacher at the Plenty Campus. In addition to his role as President of the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Association, Peter assisted the School Archives department during our Centenary Year.
