Bio

Elise is a member of the Class of 2001 and was Vice Captain of Plenty Campus in her final year. A member of the OIGA Council since 2002, Elise also remained connected to the School through netball coaching whilst completing her tertiary studies. Inspired by her rich school experience and many esteemed teachers, Elise completed a Diploma in Education (secondary) and taught Humanities and English before taking-up employment with Ivanhoe as the Alumni Co-Ordinator in 2013. With a passion for social justice, Elise initiated the first alumni service trip to Cambodia in 2006, and has coordinated five supporting fundraising events of these alumni trips, Cabaret for Cambodia. Elise is relishing the opportunity to bridge current and past student connections via various programs and events, and sees great benefit in the OIGA acting as a vehicle for connecting and supporting alumni with each other and the wider School community. Elise is looking forward to working hard to ensure 2016 is another memorable year for alumni, starting with the launch of the long-awaited OIGA Website!
