Bio

Alex is a member of the Plenty Campus Class of 2013. The most memorable experiences from Alex’s time at IGS are the Irish Gaelic Football Tour in Year 9, the school first XVIII football team and the lifelong friendships established throughout his years at Ivanhoe. After graduating from IGS, Alex remained connected to the school playing for the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club, which included a 2014 U19 Premiership and co-captaining the side in 2015. Alex also joined the long list of IGS alumni sport coaches, he coached both Basketball & Football teams at the Plenty Campus while completing his tertiary studies. On completion of his Bachelor of Business with a major in Marketing from RMIT University in 2017, Alex took up employment at the OIGA as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator. He worked in this role for 3 years before moving onto a position with Banner Asset Management as their Marketing & Communications Manager. Alex joined the OIGA as a councillor in 2020 with a passion to continue to grow the association and help support the OIGA in achieving their mission of Reaching, Connecting and Supporting past alumni.
