David O’Halloran ’73 †

David was recruited from the School to Hawthorn Football Club in 1973 and played his first senior game in 1976. In a career spanning nine years, he played 160 senior games and represented Victoria three times. He played in four Grand Finals culminating in Premiership wins in 1976 and 1983. Fighting back from knee injury, his most productive years were 1981-1983 under legendary coach Allan Jeans. David was elected into the school’s sporting Hall of Fame in 2001.
