Spark Relief Teachers is a new way for Casual Relief Teachers (CRTs) and Schools to connect. We run entirely on a mobile application and provide a platform for schools to find CRTs in their local area. No more back and forth phone calls with consultants and agencies; schools can request teachers and teachers can confirm their availability directly from their own mobile devices.
Our mission is three-fold: Firstly, to ensure CRTs are being paid properly – Spark is committed to not taking any commission from our teachers’ wages and we’re able to operate with very low overheads compared to traditional agencies as our service is run entirely through the app. Secondly, we want to introduce and utilise modern mobile app technology to streamline the booking process for CRTs. Lastly, we think there is a lack of transparency when it comes to how much CRTs are paid and how much schools are charged by traditional agencies – our prices, including a breakdown of where the fees go, can be easily found on our website.
