Northern District Softball Association is affiliated with Softball Victoria and offers softball to all ages and abilities based at our Mill Park Reserve.
Northern District Softball Association offers:
Softball Batter Up (SBU) which is a modified version of softball designed as an introductory program for our youngest and beginner players, ages 4-12. SBU involves the learning of various skills, incorporating elements of catching, throwing, batting and running.
Fully Loaded Tee-Ball is suited for players U12 years of age and helps children develop skills toward a more advanced level of softball in a more controlled setting.
Our Underage softball offers the game of Softball to players of 10 to 19.
It starts with Under 12 modified rules competition for those who are not ready for our Under 14 competition.
The next stage is Under 14, 16 and Under 19 competitions, which are a more traditional fastpitch softball game that continue to teach the fundamentals, and enhance the skills of softball in young players.
Open Men and Women competition is for players over 18 years of age (although junior players are encouraged to play if they have the ability to do so) who want a bit of competition and a lot of fun.
