Since Ivanhoe, Jordan Stanton (‘13) has focused on creating spaces where men can connect, challenge themselves and feel supported. After returning to Melbourne from a gap year, he studied business before moving into primary teaching, where his interest in people, confidence and wellbeing continued to grow. That vision now drives The Heavyweight Division, a running movement created to give bigger men and athletes a stronger sense of belonging in a space where they have not always felt represented. More than a fitness group, it has become a community built around accountability, openness and shared progress, encouraging men to take the first step and keep showing up for themselves and each other. After relocating to London, Jordan completed endurance challenges including running the length of the United Kingdom and a 200-kilometre ultra event, using each challenge to amplify the message behind the movement. Through The Heavyweight Division, he is helping redefine strength as something built through vulnerability, consistency and community.
