Always great to connect with alumni in person!
We connected with Alex Hondromatidis ‘10 online last year when he commenced his role as Head Fielding Coach with the MCC Cricket Section.
Alex has an extensive baseball CV which spans over 20 years. From representing Victoria at all junior levels and 350 senior games in the premier division, attending the Australian Baseball Academy, receiving a full Scholarship to play College Baseball in New York and currently the Head Fielding Coach for Melbourne Cricket Club in the Men’s Premier Division.
It was a pleasure to take Alex on a tour of the School and hear about his time at Ivanhoe which included being the leading wicket taker in the 2008 UK Cricket Tour, captaining Lincoln to victory in the School House Cup and going to Foxy’s office at lunchtime to buy $1.00 cans of soft drink!
Alex has joined the Old Ivanhoe Football Club this season playing in the Thirds and is enjoying reconnecting with the Ivanhoe Community.
